The Cabrach Distillery
Here on our rugged edge of Speyside, The Cabrach Distillery will distil, mature and bottle a Single Malt Scotch Whisky of unparalleled provenance and repute, in harmony with our Highland rural community, heralding the return of real Cabrach whisky after a long sleep of 170 years.
Because of the unique purpose and limited scale of our distillery, bottlings will be scarce and much sought after.
Importantly, The Cabrach Distillery is a social enterprise, the very first Community Interest Company of its kind, with future ‘profits with purpose’ legally enshrined to further progress The Cabrach Trust’s regeneration vision.
Every purchase from our exclusive shop energises and sustains the growth and development of The Cabrach Distillery. Purchases you will savour and enjoy whilst knowing you are supporting our Whisky With Purpose journey here in The Cabrach

The Feering First Harvest scored a brilliant 73 out of 100
"In Spring 2024, we sent out an unlabelled sample to a selected group of W Club members, for an at-home blind tasting, each of whom provided their honest thoughts, rating out of 25 for nose and palate, out of 20 for finish, and out of 30 for their overall impression. We're very pleased to reveal that this liquid was The Feering Early Harvest, a highly limited Speyside Blended Malt Scotch Whisky which is the first whisky proposition released by The Cabrach Distillery.”

How We Operate
As a purpose-driven, community-owned distillery, this project aspires to meet the highest social and environmental standards. To achieve this, The Cabrach Distillery will attract and retain a talented local workforce, embed sustainability across our operations, and pay meticulous attention to raw materials, including Inverharroch home barley.
With mashing and fermenting via our half-tonne mash tun and six wooden washbacks, our highly limited, hand-crafted Single Malt Scotch Whisky will be born from small Forsyths stills, cooled by traditional worm tubs, with the majority of casks maturing here in The Cabrach
